Page Rank Search, Made Easy.
What is Page Rank? Page Rank is actually a numeric method which describes how important a page is on the web. A page will be ranked on a scale from 0 to 10 according to its importance on the web. In order to rank your Page Rank Google actually looks at other pages linking to your page, from there it figures out their importance on the web in order to rank yours. This is called casting a vote and the more votes are cast for a page,
the more importantthat page has to be.
What about Links? One important thing to keep in mind is that not all links (votes) are counted by Google. An example of this are links from known so called link farms and such links will be filtered out by Google. When it comes to links
coming into your site you will not get penalized if the link comes from a bad page since this is completely out of your control, out going links from your site on the other hand, is a different matter. If a site has Page Rank 0, it is normally a penalty and not very wise for you to link to.
